We utilized two lentiviral vectors, lenti-CYP and lenti-Ctr, from VectorBuilder Inc. in our study on Lgr5+ intestinal stem cells. The lenti-CYP vector, encoding the hCYP27B1 gene, enabled de novo synthesis of locally high 1,25(OH)2D concentrations, proving crucial for our investigation. The high-quality design, including promoter specificity and integrated resistance genes, ensured reliable gene expression and successful transduction. The control vector, lenti-Ctr, further allowed precise experimental comparisons. VectorBuilder's products significantly contributed to the success of our research, and I highly recommend their custom vector services for advanced molecular biology applications.
