Located in cytoplasm and nucleus. Used to study congestive heart failure; middle cerebral artery infarction; and transient cerebral ischemia. Biomarker of several diseases, including borna disease; cerebrovascular disease (multiple); kidney failure; perinatal necrotizing enterocolitis; and ureteral obstruction.
