Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in Duchenne muscular dystrophy; autosomal recessive limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2D; autosomal recessive limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2P; congenital muscular dystrophy-dystroglycanopathy type A9; and inclusion body myositis.
