Is expressed in dorsal root ganglion; peripheral nervous system; and thymus primordium. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in several diseases, including Addison\'s disease; Meniere\'s disease; autoimmune disease (multiple); chronic lymphocytic leukemia; and pulmonary tuberculosis.
