HiExpress™ Cre LNP-mRNA

CRE recombinase is a ~38 kD Type I topoisomerase encoded by bacteriophage P1 which recognizes two recombinase binding elements (RBE) within LoxP sites to facilitate site-specific recombination. Our LNP-HiExpress™ Cre mRNA has been codon optimized to ensure high levels of CRE recombinase expression both in vitro and in vivo.

HiExpress Cre mRNA and LNP-mRNA expression

Figure 1. HiExpressTM Cre mRNA and LNP-mRNA expression. (A) Expression levels of WT and HiExpress Cre mRNA (m1Psi modified) in HEK293T cells, measured 24 hours post-transfection by western blot. (B) Cre-dependent tdTomato expression in Ai9 mice. Adult male Ai9 mice harboring loxP-flanked STOP upstream of CAG>tdTomato were intravenously injected with either 0.1 mg/Kg or 0.4 mg/Kg of Cre or HiExpress Cre LNP-mRNA. (C) Representative images showing liver tdTomato expression 48 hours post-injection.
